In May 2014 Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home was purchased by Gene Willis and renamed Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. After purchasing the funeral home, Mr. Willis announced that his son Robby Willis would move from Locust Grove to assume the role as Funeral Director.

Robby Willis, a Pelham native, has been a licensed funeral director since 2000. "He always knew he wanted to be a funeral director, working with the Braswell family while in high school. Then after he finished school, he worked with Jim Jamerson and Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville. Then he worked with Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Jonesboro," .  Mr. C. B. Braswell began Braswell Funeral Home on Church Street sometime in the late 1950's or early 1960's. In 1967, he began construction on the current building with completion in 1968. He also purchased and remodeled the home next door, which has served as the residence for his family, the Jamerson's and now for Robby and his family.Mr. Braswell operated the funeral home with his sons, Charlie Bob and Billy, until his death in 1977. Charlie Bob took over management at that time and hired Jim Jamerson as a funeral director and mortician. In 1995, upon Charlie Bob's death, the youngest son, Billy, took charge of the funeral home with Jim continuing as an employee. Billy passed away suddenly with a heart attack in 2004, at which time Jim Jamerson purchased the funeral home from Betty Braswell Davis. At that time, the name changed to Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Willis' have completed remodeling the facility and welcome visitors.
