Austin Eugene Thompson

Austin Eugene Thompson, 59, of Pelham, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 in Meigs, Georgia. Born on August 8, 1954 in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late John Wesley and Lois Louise Holland Thompson, he was a diesel mechanic and Baptist by faith. He is survived by his wife, Donita Faircloth Thompson of Pelham, Georgia, daughter Natasha Smith and husband, Christopher, of Auburn, Georgia, grandson Ian Smith of Auburn, Georgia, sister Tammy Hodges and husband, Gary, of Savannah, Georgia, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents John Wesley and Lois Louise Holland Thompson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home in Pelham, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be held at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
