Bette Kelly Frosteg, 97, of Pelham, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Pelham First Baptist Church. Rev. Ricky Griner and Rev. Leroy Williams will officiate with interment to follow at Pelham City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Davis, Brooks Davis, Brent Davis, Vince Frosteg, Ryan Frosteg, Garrett Frosteg, Levi Davis, Brody Davis, and Baylee Griffin. Born June 26, 1928, in Pelham, GA, she was the daughter of Donald G. and Lennie Nora Cooke Kelly. She was a retired secretary from the First Baptist Church of Pelham, where she also played the piano and organ for 80+ years, beginning at the age of 15. She also sang the National Anthem for Pelham High School for 40+ years as well as singing it at the Braves Baseball games. She was a member of the Pelham Jr. Women's Club, Pelham Rotary Club, where she was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award, she is also a member of the Mitchell County Sports Hall of Fame and was chosen Citizen of the Year for Pelham. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Davis of Pelham; daughter-in-law, Kathy K. Frosteg; grandchildren Jeremy Nolan Davis (Missy), Brooks Adam Davis, both of Pelham, Matthew Brent Davis (Beth) of Leesburg, GA, Vincent Eric Frosteg of Pelham, Ryan Clayton Frosteg of Orlando, Fl., Garrett Alan Frosteg (Kristen) of Valdosta, GA; great grandchildren McKenzie Davis Griffin (Baylee), Levi Thad Davis and Heather Nicole Davis of Pelham, Murphy Brody Davis and Mattie Bentley Davis of Leesburg, GA and J.B. Frosteg of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Philip Frosteg, her son, Larry Clayton Frosteg and a brother Wade Cooke Kelly. The family will be meeting at the Legion Drive home and a formal visitation will be Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 6:00-8:00PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Disable Veterans or a charity of your choice.
