Billy Davis

Billy C. Davis, 82, of Live Oak, FL passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. Mr. Davis was born in Blakely, GA and retired from the US Navy after 23 years of service. He served on the USS Saratoga during Vietnam. After retiring from the Navy, Billy worked for Miller Brewing Company and finished out his work career as a Utility Supervisor at Fort Howard. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking but his true love was helping others. Mr. Davis started the food bank in Pellam, GA where he lived and was always known for giving a helping hand wherever it was needed. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and community.

Billy is survived by his wife of 66 years: Margie Davis; daughter: Faith (Tommy) Brett; sons: Donald Clayton (Pat) Davis and Timothy Wade (Linda) Davis; sister: Duane (Mark) Kolbrecki; grandchildren: Kristina, Stephanie, Katie, Wesley, Kelsey, Kelley, Kylie, Kayla, Wade, Grace, Hope, Joy, Caleb, and Josh; numerous great-grandchildren.

There will be a service to celebrate Mr. Davis' life at 3 pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2023, at Daniels Funeral Home, Live Oak, FL. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery with military honors. https://www.danielsfuneralhome.com/obituary/billy-davis
