Charles Farrell Bagley

In loving memory: A celebration of the life of Charles Farrell Bagley, 83, will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 4:00PM at Grace Baptist Church, 3775 Spot Rd, Cumming, Georgia. "Charlie" (Farrell) is survived by his loving wife, Betty. Betty and Charlie met on a blind date in 1952, fell in love, and within two months were married on Valentine's Day, 1953. They continued to share this love for 61 unforgettable years. His legacy lives on through their loving family, including their 6 children. He was affectionately known as "Papaw" to his 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He survives in the memories of his family and friendsa€"memories full of laughter, fun, and love. For his kids and grandkids, these memories are full of life lessons, as there is no question that he shaped the people they have become. Charlie was the definition of character, and showed us all what it means to be a real man and a good person. But most importantly, he taught us what love was all about. Charlie was a United States Air Force veteran, electrical salesman, avid golfer, master poker player, Bulldog fan, farmer, grill master, and ice cream maker. He will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, it was his wish that you send donations to his wife, addressed to Theresa Phillips, 3482 Keith Bridge Rd., Box 217, Cumming, GA 30041; checks written to Betty Bagley. Local survivors include his granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Reanna and Robby Willis of Pelham
