Funeral services for Clarence William Bailey, 79, of Pelham will be at 3:00PM Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Greg Fenn will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Bailey passed away at his residence Thursday, November 13, 2014. Born June 1, 1935 he was the son of the late James Arthur Bailey and Daisy Hutto Bailey. Mr. Bailey was married for 55 years to Mary Juanita Creech who survives. He was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church and a Mechanic. Pallbearers will be Richard Bailey, Matthew Bailey, Brett Bailey, Sam Bailey, Jeremy Herring and Steven McCook. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Taylor, Shaun Herring, Justin Downey and Brad Bailey. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Mary Juanita Bailey of Pelham; four sons, Clarence W. Bailey, Jr. of Pelham; David Bailey of Camilla; James Bailey of Camilla; Richard Bailey of Pelham; three daughters, Tammy McCook of Pelham; Susan Herring of Ocoee, Fl.; and Michelle Taylor of Clermont, Fl.; three brothers, Jimmy Bailey, Marvin Bailey and Alvin Bailey all of Bainbridge and two sisters, Iva Morris of Bainbridge and Elizabeth Lawrence of Augusta, 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Daisy Bailey, and five brothers, Edward Bailey, Clayton Bailey, Charles Bailey, Paul Bailey and Arnold Bailey and two sisters, Audrey Day and Margaret Yelverton.
