Clower Eugene (Bill) Willis

Funeral services for Bill Willis, 95, of Pelham will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home Chapel and services will conclude in the chapel. Rev. Paul Shaw and Rev. Ed Green will officiate and interment will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Robby Willis, Walker Willis, Rick Willis, Aiden Willis, Matthew Free, Ronnie Morrell and Ronald Godwin. Born January 6, 1930 in Cairo he was the son of the late Sailor Walker and Leila Shores Willis. Mr. Willis passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. He was married September 16, 1953 to Wilda Fowler Willis who preceded him in death on December 20, 2015. He worked for many years with the Whitley's and Anderson's at the dry cleaners in Pelham and was a self employed farmer. Survivors include his sons, Gene Willis (Cheryl Powell) and Terry Willis (Vicky); grandchildren, Robby Willis, Walker Willis (Danielle), Maria Free (Matthew), Richard Willis (Levi), Kristi Meade, and nine great grandchildren; a sister, Ida Pearl (Blackie) Hubbard and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters, Louise Brooks (Marvin), Betty Barnes (Ray). The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 6:00-8:00PM.
