Funeral services for David Wayne Lewis, 60, of Pelham will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 4:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. David Pickering will officiate. Born December 29, 1953 in Talledega, Alabama he was the son of Francis Catherine Lewis of Hugo, OK who survives. He was a truck driver for Wiggins Trucking for twenty plus years. Survivors include his mother, Francis Catherine Lewis of Hugo, OK; 2 daughters and son -in-laws, Sharon Ann Haney and James of Paris Texas and Tish Shuford and Heath of Pelham; and a son, Jason Lewis of Thomasville; 2 brothers Elvis Lewis and Johnny Rowan of Hugo, OK; 2 sisters, Christy Hignight of Paris, TX and Kay Rowan Deturo of El Paso, TX. Other survivors include grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jarvis, Ashley Palmer, Courtney Palmer, Tailor Price, Jordan Lewis, Chas Lewis, Dylan Lewis and (CJ) Christian Shuford and 2 great grandchildren Colin Reid and Kayden Lee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00PM on Saturday, September 20, 2014.
