Donald Bodin

Donald Harold Bodin, 88, of Pelham, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Archbold Living Pelham Nursing Home. Funeral services are planned for Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Connection Church.  Rev. Stacy West will officiate and interment will be at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Joel Chaffer, Kurt Chaffer, Luke Chaffer and Peter Bodin. Born December 27, 1936 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Robert and Emily Ryco Bodin.  He was raised as a child of Christian Missionary's and continued as a missionary himself as an adult.  He was a member of the New Tribes Missions and a member of First Baptist Church of Pelham.  Mr. Bodin is survived by his daughter, Melodie Chaffer and her husband, Andrew, eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and his favorite dog, Boots.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jean Louise Bodin, son, Mark Stephen Bodin, brothers Robert Bodin, Ronald Bodin and David Bodin.  The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM, at Connection Church.
