Visitation for Donice West Dowdy, 62, of Meigs will be held Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 2:00-4:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell. She was born February 28, 1960 in Camilla to the late Lonnie David West and Ione Howze West of Thomasville who survives. Mrs. Dowdy passed away Thursday 16, 2023 at her residence. She was married to Van Dowdy for 31 years who preceded her in death on August 5, 2022. She was an administrative assistant at Four Corners Cotton Gin. She is survived by her daughters,  Chelsie Seago (Brandon) of Thomasville; and Ashley Fox of Thomasville; Holli D. Allen (Pat) of Cairo; and son, Van Dowdy, Jr (VJ) (Candice) of Cairo; grandchildren, Connor Prince, Taylor Figueroa (Drew), Aubri Josey, Gage Willoughby, Kayden Dowdy, Davin Dowdy, Sara Dowdy, Rylan Dowdy, Railey Clements, Lane Fox, Luke Fox and bonus grandchildren, Morgan Allen, Bailey Allen, Nate Seago, Kennedy Seago, Tatum Willis, Kayleigh Williams and one great grandchild, Adeera Willis; sister, Latricia Maxwell (Tim) of Camilla and brother, David West (Patti) of Meigs; and sister-in-laws, Tammy Butler (Freddie) and Valarie West.
