Donita Thompson

Funeral services for Donita Thompson, 66, of Pelham will be held Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 2:30PM at Union Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate and interment will be at a later date in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Latricia Maxwell, Corlis Adams, Jenny Warren, Sherry Burham, Adolyne Culpepper, Valinda Rackley, John Taylor and Tim Maxwell. Born March 17, 1960 in Pelham, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Nadine Godwin Faircloth. Mrs. Thompson passed away Monday, September 14, 2026 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Eugene Thompson. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a caretaker for elderly. She is survived by her daughter, Natasha Smith (Chris) of Auburn, GA; grandson, Ian Smith of Auburn, GA ; a sister, Esterlita West of Pelham.
