Doris Lynette Grimsley

Funeral services for Doris Grimsley, 75, of Pelham will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Hurst will officiate and interment will be in Union Grove Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Holley, Wesley Whitener, Michael Carillo, Noah Oneal, Craig Hurst and Rusty Jones. Born August 5, 1946 in Summerall, MS she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Maenell Broome Easterling. Mrs. Grimsley passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at her son's residence. She was a member of Bocton Baptist Church and retired seamstress at Ithaca. She is survived by her children, Kim Carrillo (Ricardo) of Chicago, IL; Stan Hurst (Cindy) of Pelham; Carlis Hurst (Melissa) of Moultrie; Grandchildren, Micheal Carrillo, Katie Beall (Eloy), Ricardo Carrillo Ashley all of Indiana; Hailey Holley (Jesse) of Ochlocknee; Lauren Hurst of Pelham; Samantha Hurst (Wesley) of Clayton, GA; Victoria Hurst (Jacob) of Maryville, TN; Summer Terrell, Kaitlin Oneal, Noah Oneal all of Moultrie and brother, Roger Easterling (Frances) of Albany and several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Thomas and Leon Easterling and a baby sister. Memorial Contributions may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church Childrens Ministry. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service on Monday. Services will be livestreamed on Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home's Facebook page.
