Edwin Lee Hurst

 Mr. Edwin Lee Hurst, 79, of Meigs passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at his residence. Born December 14, 1935 in Thomas County he was the son of the late Carl B. Hurst and Leah Shirah Hurst and was a farmer. Survivors include his brothers, Yacht Hurst, Layborn Hurst, Judson Hurst, Jack C. Hurst and sisters, Alene Barfield, Elouise Draughon, Nezzie Law and Jeanette McQuire and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Carnell Hurst, J.R. Hurst, Ronald Hurst, Zack Hurst and a sister Montine Warren. A Memorial service will be planned at a later date.
