Howard Preston McMillon

Funeral services for Howard Preston McMillon, 72, of Ochlocknee will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 2:00pm at Springhill Christian Church. The Rev. Harold Thomas and Jeff Brooks will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr McMillon passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 15,2014. Born in Thomas County on December 7,1941. On October 13,1962 he married Ann Jones McMillon of Ochlocknee who survives. Other survivors include Daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Ricky Snipes of Meigs; Son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Yvonne McMillon of Ochlocknee; and a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Donnie Godwin of Tampa, Fl; a sister, Jessi Dowdy, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, June 16, 2014 from 6-8PM. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home.
