Jacquelyn Mobley

Funeral services for Jacquelyn Humphries Mobley, 90, of Cairo will be held Friday, April 24, 2026 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. David Pickering will officiate and interment will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Moye, Lucas Turner, Chris Taylor, Mike Helton, Gage Helton, Cade Moore, Jonathan Walker, Zackry Mobley and Barry Mobley. Born February 16, 1936 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late Martin and Ellaree Williams Humphries. Mrs. Mobley passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan. She was a retired teacher with the Grady County Board of Education. She was married to I. Winford Mobley who preceded her in death . She is survived by her children, Burk and Aletha Mobley, Rhonda and Charles Bishop; grandchildren, Dottie and Chris Taylor, Jackie and Kyle Moye, Laurie and Mike Helton, Donna and Jonathan Walker and Barry Mobley, Jennifer and Lucas Turner and Kelly Bishop, and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and siblings, Judy and Donnie Free and Tommy and LaDonnia Humphries and her sitter, Joyce Crittenden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Ellaree Humphries, husband of 61 years, I. Winford Mobley, a son, Barry Mobley, Sr and sister, Helen Godwin.   The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home on Friday.
