James Miles Minton

James Myles Minton, 69, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025. He was born in Camilla, Georgia, on August 23, 1955, to the late James and Eunice Minton.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Minton; sons, Timothy (Jessica) Minton, Jonathan Minton; brother, Joe Minton; sister, Patsy Martin; grandchildren, Thomas, Kaidence, Kaci, Savannah, and Landin Minton.

James was a truck driver for many years. He was a jack of all trades and loved to paint. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He was also a pilot and loved to fly.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Towe officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Tim Minton, Jonathan Minton, Thomas Minton, Robert Crosby, Zeus Ramirez, and Joey Grizzle.
