James Raiford Daughtry

Funeral services for James Raiford Daughtry, 90, of Camilla will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Watson and Rev. Doug Hall will officiate and interment will be in Union Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Watson, Jr, Caleb Curles, Gary Humphries, Roman Humphries, Darrell Humphries Don Warren and Eli Hayek. Born December 11, 1934 in Camilla he was the son of the late Fred and Hazel Foy Daughtry. Mr. Daughtry passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. He was married to Edrice Faye Anderson Daughtry who preceded him in death on January 17, 2022. He was a self-employed general contractor and member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his children, Denise Watson (Robert) of Pelham; Chuck Curles (Jennifer) of Pelham; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sisters and brother, Irma Gassett; Linda Stewart (Andy), Carolyn Barrington and Ronald Daughtry (Pam). He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sons, Maston Curles and Joe Curles, and brothers and sisters, Oreva Butler, Tommy Jean Daughtry, Hollis Daughtry, CW Daughtry, and Raymond Daughtry.
