James Shiver

James Alton Shiver, 71, 0f Camilla passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Emory University Hospital. Born March 30, 1955 in Albany he was the son of the late Lewis Edward and Mary Ann Howell Shiver. He was retired from the Marine Corps. Logistic Base in Albany and servied his country in the United States Air Force. He was married to Peggy Dian Brassfield Shiver of Camilla who survives. Other survivors include his son, Leslee Shiver and daughter, Andria Barnaby (Cortney); grandchildren, Lily Dian Shiver and Abigail Shiver; a sister-in-law, Karen Shiver and nephew, Joshua Shiver.
