Janie Fowler Humphries

Janie Dale Fowler Humphries, 64, of 334 Wilkes Avenue, Pelham, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at her residence. Born on September 19, 1949 in Tifton, Georgia to the late William Grady and Annie Clara Moore Fowler, Sr., she was a homemaker and a member of Westside Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia. She is survived by her daughters Paula Baggett and husband Jody, Sonya Burgess and husband Danny, all of Pelham, Georgia, grandchildren Samantha Leverette and husband Matthew, BreAnn White and husband Brett, Clint Burgess, KayLee Humphries, Gavin Burgess, great grandchildren Mason Leverette and Emma Burgess, all of Pelham, Georgia, and brother Grady Fowler of Cleveland, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband James Lee Humphries, son Stanley Humphries, parents William Grady and Annie Clara Moore Fowler, Sr., sisters June Pilgrim, Sandra McRay, Joyce Newbern, Margaret Pate and brother Joseph Fowler. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Jamerson Funeral Home in Pelham, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate the services with Chris Humphries, Jamie Humphries, Bill Fowler, Jody Fowler, James Willis and Clint Burgess acting as pallbearers.
