Jerry Ronald Humphries

Funeral services for Jerry Ronald Humphries, 70, of Pelham will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Macedonia Baptist Church. The Rev. Marvin Snipes will officiate and interment will be in Macedonia Church Cemetery. Born in Pelham November 10, 1944 he was the son of the late Delma Leon and Mila Mae Brinson Humphries. Mr. Humphries passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Mr. Humphries was a farmer and member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Shirley Ann Thompson Humphries of Pelham; a daughter and son-in-law, Shae and Shay Walden of Cairo; two granddaughters, Anna Kay Walden of Cairo; Skye Walden of Bainbridge and a grandson, Drew Thomas Walden of Cairo; a brother, Waymon Humphries of Pelham; and three sisters, Mary Andrews of Cairo; Gloria Palmer of Pelham and Lenora Nazworth of Navarre Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Wendell Humphries and a sister, Glenda Howell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
