Jerry Davis Williams

Jerry Davis Williams, 78, of Camilla passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Mitchell County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  Pallbearers will be Clint Littleton, Pat Littleton, Wade Bowles, Kyle Foerster, Cole Littleton, and Woody Willingham.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Pinecrest Men's Golf Group.  Born August 1, 1947 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late James Theodore and Margaret Shiver Williams.  He was married to Dale Willis Williams for 52 years, who preceded him in death.  Jerry was owner of Williams Electrical and worked as an electrical contractor.  He is survived by his daughters, Robyn Gunter (Donald) of Anderson, SC and Lauryn Smith (Stuart) of Savannah, GA, grandchildren Faith Gunter, Blair Gunter, Lukas Smith, and Scarlett Smith, sisters Beverly Elmore (Bob), Theodosia Flowers (JE), and Krista Harrison (Edd) and a special friend Shirley Pritchett. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, daughter Margaret Elizabeth "Libby" Williams, grandson Asher Ward Smith, brothers Jimmy Williams, Larry Williams and Scotty Colvin.   The family will meet friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
