Funeral services for Jimmy Delwood Allen, 77, of Cairo will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00PM at Victory Baptist Church in Thomasville. The Rev. Gary Holland will officiate and interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo. Pallbearers will be Gene Benton, Billy Byrd, Phillip Wilham. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 6:00-8:00PM. Mr. Allen passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his residence. Born November 25, 1943 in Cairo he was the son of the late Bura B. and Fronnie McClelland Allen. He was a retired supervisor with UPS and member of Victorty Baptist Church in Thomasville. Survivors include his wife Bobbie Allen of Cairo; children, Jodie Allen (Michelle) and Jeffrey Allen both of Michigan; stepchildren, John Kendall Taylor and Kimberly Victoria Byrd both of Cairo; sisters, Frances Benton of Cairo; Linda Henning of  Attapulgus; brothers, Elwood Allen of Cairo and Steve Allen of Donalsonville; step grandchildren, Pamela Robinson, Jessilyn Logue and Robert Byrd.
