Funeral services for Jimmy Brian Hornsby, Sr., 73, of Thomasville will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 2:00PM at Union Grove Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Doug Hall will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Thomasville. Born September 1, 1944 in Westville, Fl he was the son of the late John Wesley and Cora Slaughter Hornsby. He was married to Judy McMurchie Hornsby who survives. Other survivors include his children, Tammy Hyde of Ft. Collins, CO; Tim Hornsby of Palm Coast Springs, Fl; Brian Hornsby, Aaron Hornsby and Andrew Hornsby all of Ft. Collins, CO; and a step-daughter, Candyce Heath of Riverview, Fl; 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; a brother, JW Hornsby of Perry, Fl and a sister, Maxine Lewis of Perry, Fl. The family will receive friends Monday at the Church one hour prior to the service.
