Graveside services for Jimmy Lee Sheperd, 75, of Pelham will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10:00AM at Mizpah Cemetery. Rev. Nathan Fowler and Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Pallbearers will be nephews, Jamie Williams, Frank Williams, Tony Williams, Scott Lamb, Mickey Williams and Joe Williams. Born January 1, 1945 he was the son of the late Lee and Alberta ( Bertie) Brinson Sheperd. Mr Sheperd passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence after a lengthy fight with leukemia. He was retired from the Southern Company, an avid fisherman and hunter.  He was married for 53 years to Joyce Williams Sheperd of Pelham who survives. Other survivors include a son, Jimmy (Jimbo) Sheperd of Pelham; a daughter, Roseanne Harrell (Darren) of Pelham; sisters, Doris Ray (Elvin) of Pelham and Dyann House of Albany; grandchildren, Cody Sheperd, Tyler Sheperd (Brooke), Dylan Sheperd, Zane Harrell and Braylee Harrell, great grandchildren, Jace and Dawson Sheperd. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Brayden Kenseth Harrell, granddaughters, Josie and Jessica Sheperd and two sisters, Frances Maddox and Bonnie McDaniel. The family will receive friends at their home after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mizpah Cemetery Fund, % Earl Godwin, 419 Godwin Lane, Pelham, GA 31779.  Friends may sign the online guestbook at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
