JoAnn Kerce

JoAnn Justiss Kerce, age 84, of Pelham, GA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 7, 2023 surrounded by family.  Born June 21, 1939 in Albany, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Capers and Ozella Evelyn Taylor Justiss.  She was well known as a school bus driver for Pelham City School system for many years and working with the Magistrate Court in Mitchell County, until she retired.  She was a hard worker, loved her family and loved working in her flowers.  JoAnn is survived by her daughters, Deborah Phelps Badawi, Dianna P. Smith (David) and JoAnna D. Rice (Joe); grandchildren Jennifer Nicole Daughtry, Rebecca Anderson, Glenn Anderson; great grandchildren Madison Aki, Levi Everson, Kenley Barrett; one brother Joseph Justiss (Lupi) and one sister Janice Tipps (Ross).  No services will be held at this time but a small gathering for immediate family for celebration of life.  In lieu of flowers, please order memorial trees to be planted or donations to Archbold Hospice, 400 Old Albany Road, Thomasville, GA 31792
