June Holley Davis

June Gainelle Holley Davis, 72, of Pelham, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Born on March 13, 1942 in Pelham, Georgia to the late Carl and Maybelle Whitfield Holley, she was a member of East Pelham Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress for Darwood Manufacturing Company. She is survived by her children Janet Adams of Pelham, Georgia, Danny Davis and wife, Claire, of Macon, Georgia, grandson Justin Adams of Pelham, Georgia, sister Martha Brown of Brunswick, Georgia, brother Elwood Holley and wife, Sharon, of Boynton Beach, Florida, nephews Steve Sadler, David Holley, niece Marsha McKinnon and special friend Carol Whigham. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank C. Davis, son-in-law Joe Adams, parents Carl and Maybelle Whitfield Holley and sister Carolyn Griner. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at East Pelham Baptist Church with Rev. Herman Hampton officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Willis, Jimmy Sanders, Steve Sadler, James Davis, Rory Brock and Alan Burford. Interment will be held in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
