Karl Emory Pollock

Graveside funeral services for Karl Emory Pollock, 61, of Pelham will be held Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 5:30PM at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate. Born July 25, 1964 in Camilla, he was the son of the late Eugene Coy and Evie Holton Pollock. Mr. Pollock passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. He was a self employed general contractor and member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Karl was a man of few words, his actions spoke louder than any word he could ever speak. With his dry sense of humor he could bring laughter and joy to the ones he knew and loved. Karl was a homebody and spent most of his time at home entertaining his friends that happen to stop by with his famous grilled meat that he spent hours preparing to perfection. He loved to grill and made sure his friends were fed and never left hungry. He took pride in his home and always opened his doors to someone in need. Survivors include his daughter Hannah Pollock Broyles (Trevor), grandchildren, Waverly Jackson and Oliver Broyles, siblings, Corlis Adams (Don); Carla Meadows (Ray), and Carey Pollock (Kimber) and niece, Jana Cedeno, nephews, Derek Meadows, Casey Pollock and Cody Pollock, and great niece, Taylor McMullen and great nephews, Jacob McMullen and Tucker McMullen and special friend, Karen Butler. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Craig Pollock. The family will receive friends at the Union Grove Baptist Church from 4:30-5:30PM on Sunday.
