Lana Beth Layton

Lana Beth Layton, 61, of Meigs, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 10:00AM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.  Rev. Gary Holland will officiate with interment to follow at Meigs Sunset Cemetery.  Born August 3,1962 in Homerville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Moore and Leanna Henderson.  She was a mother, housewife, and of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Layton is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, James William Layton, daughters Jessica Knowles, Racheal Pelsang, and Jessica Manger, son James Mitchell Layton, numerous grandchildren, a brother Danny Moore, one sister Missy McLendon and a special mother-in-law, Helen Layton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
