Leon Royal, 71, of Thomasville, passed away on Friday - June 12, 2026. Mr. Royal was born May 18, 1955 to the late Leroy Royal and Imojean Cain Royal in Cotton, GA. As a carpenter in the mobile home industry Mr. Royal was self employed and of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Royal. He is survived by his children Travis Royal (Tania) of Thomasville, Kimberly Royal of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren Shelley Dollar, Cole Harrison, Leland Royal, Morgan McKenzie, Kelly McKenzie, Ethan McKenzie, and Haley McKenzie; great grandchildren, Auburn McKenzie and Graceland McKenzie; also his brothers and sisters, Ann Barnes (Doyle), Betty Stephens (James), Joyce Stanaland (Randall), Diane West (Jonas), Debra Daugherty (Johnny), and Wayne Royal (LeighAnne), his significant other Kathy Baillargeon and step-daughters Trysh Fleuren (Danny) and Angie Daniels. A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 pm in the Chapel. Interment will follow in the Pelham City Cemetery.
