Lois Barfield Glausier, 100, 0f Pelham passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Archbold Living-Pelham. Born March 27, 1926 in Mitchell County, Lois was the beloved daughter of Jason and Florence Timmons. She grew up, lived and worked her entire life in Southwest Georgia. Lois was a loving caring mother, a loving devoted wife and loving loyal friend. She devoted her life to family and friends. One of her greatest joys was dancing introduced to her later in life by her second husband Jack Glausier. For 18 years, Jack and Lois were looking for a place to dance two and sometimes three times each week, but they could always be found at the Pelham Country Jamboree every Saturday ngiht. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Feros (Angelo), son, Randall Barfield (Beth), grandchildren, Shannon Ford (Phillip, Randi Genesi (Nick), and Chase Barfield, great grandchildren, Charlotte Genesi, Graham Genesi, Noah, Ethan and Trevor Barfield, brothers, Glenn Timmons (Jane), Jerry Timmons (Jeanette) and stepchildren, Norma Sue Jerge, Vickie Cravey, and Jackie Glausier. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Jason and Florence Timmons, first husband, Gerald Barfield, second husband, Jack Glausier, granddaughter-in-law, Mandy Barfield (Chase), sister, Mildred Gay, brothers, J.T. Timmons, Raymond Timmons, Pete Timmons (Sybil). A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00. Friends and family are invited to share memories and honor her legacy. A private burial will follow the services. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Meigs Baptist Church, 2014 S. Church Street, Meigs, GA 31765, or the Pelham Country Jamboree, 153 W. Railroad Street S, Pelham GA 31779.
