Lon Jerry Alday

Lon Jerry Alday, 82, of Camilla passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Born April 9, 1942 in Sneads, Fl. he was the son of the late John and Iva Scott Norton. He owned and operated his brokerage company. He was married to Vivian Iris Jacobs of Camilla who survives. He loved to fish, was an avid Alabama fan loved to work in his yards and loved his family and friends. Other survivors include his daughter,  Lisa Alday Cumbess of Thomasville; grandchildren, Nikki Howell (Thomas); Jordan Daniel (Matt); Courtney Joestgen (Adam) and seven great grandchildren; a brother, John Peters (Ann) and a sister, Johann Swords (Jimmy). The family will have a private Family service.
