Memorial services for Lynwood Wayne Kelley, 82, of Warner Robins will be held Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 3:00PM at Union Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate, and interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Born August 1, 1943, in Pelham he was the son of the late Howard Jackson and Nettie Inez Bass Kelley who preceded him in death. Mr. Kelley passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Church Home Life Spring Rehabilitation Center in Fort Valley. He would have been married this year on Sunday to his wife Gail Oliver Kelley who preceded him in death for 58 years. He served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1965-1967 earning the National Defense Service Medal. He was a graduate of Pelham High School, and loved to hunt, fish and do woodworking. He was loved by many and a very trusted friend. He enjoyed grilling with family and friends and made the best rack of ribs you have ever put your mouth on. Mr. Kelley had a contagious smile and would light up a room and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, often sitting and listening to his music and loved watching you tube videos and playing bingo. He also loved to watch home videos that he had filmed with family and friends. Mr. Kelley’s favorite thing to do was eat cake and ice cream and he ate as much as he wanted to during the last days of his life. He was also a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and Macon Lions Club. The family would like to thank the staff of Atrium Health Navicent Peach, Atrium Health Navicent Pine Point Hospice, Church Home Life Spring Rehab Center and Heartland Hospice for the care they gave Mr. Kelley during the last months of his life. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Brose (Mark), and Jill Hancock (Alan), grandchildren, Ryan Mark Brose, Taylor Vickers, Zoe Hancock, Noah Hancock and great grandchildren, Cayden and Hayley Vickers; and a sister, Debbie Hall (Doug) and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings, Robbie Kelley and Kathryn Chambless. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
