Marilee Thomas Lindsay

Marilee Thomas Lindsay, 75, of Pelham, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Camellia Gardens of Life Care in Thomasville, Georgia. Born on May 12, 1938 in Whigham, Georgia to the late George M. and Irene Mirick Thomas, she was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters Linda Lindsay, Gloria Johnson, Sherry Lewis and husband, Walt, all of Pelham, Georgia, grandchildren Hayley Johnson, Lindsay Johnson, Seth Lewis, Sydney Lewis, all of Pelham, Georgia, sister Evelyn T. Kelly and husband, Kermit, of Cairo, Georgia, brother George M. "Marty" Thomas, Jr. and wife, Sharon, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lindsay and her parents. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church. Rev. David Pickering, assisted by Rev. Marvin Snipes, will officiate the services. Keith Kelly, Kevin Kelly, Elton Hurst, Walt Lewis, Zane Mirick and Danny Ezell will serve as pallbearers. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
