Mary W Davis

Mary W. Davis, 87, of Cotton passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 at her residence. Born December 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William Roy and Nannie Clyde Carter Welch. She was retired from Farmers Bank in Pelham and member of Burns United Methodist Church (Burns Community Church). She was preceded in death by her husband Lamont Davis. Survivors include her brother, Bill Welch (Kathy) of Cotton; sisters, Barbara Carroll (Randall) of Rose Hill; Linda Norman (Keith) of Meigs, Nieces and nephews, Chris Welch, Angie Welch, Rory Nesmith (Lindy), Maria Free (Matthew), Robby WIllis, Albert Bufford, Jr (Kris), Wally Bufford (Tracy), Lynn VIckers (Gator) and Diane Russell (Marty), and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her baby, and a sister and brother-in-law, Patty Bufford (Albert). The family will receive friends at the funeral home the day of the service once that is determined. The family will not have a formal meeting place other than the funeral home.
