Maurice Bruce Palmer

Maurice Palmer, 70, of Pelham passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at his residence. Visitation services will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 from 1:00-2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Interment will follow the visitation at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born August 13, 1948 in Cairo, he was the son of the late Earl Bruce and Marion Powell Palmer. He attended college at the University of Georgia and was a retired Pharmacist with Murphy Drugs in Boston, GA. He was a member of the future Farmers of America and enjoyed gardening, flowers, agriculture and reading. He is survived by his wife, Jane Nelson Palmer of Pelham; daughter, Karen Strickland of Waycross; Bethany Friday of Denver, CO; and Katie Celis of Pelham; grandchildren, Laurens Conner, Sarah and Jacob Strickland, Ellis Friday, David, Joseph, and Abrianna Jones and Jasper Celis.
