Michael Edward Eldredge, 71, passed away on August 15, 2026. Born on April 17, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, Mike was the second of five sons born to David Alva Eldredge and Marion Winson Stafford. Mike was a gifted, self-taught musician whose lifelong passion was the guitar. Growing up around the world as an Air Force brat and later spending his teenage and early adult years in Miami, Florida, he developed a love of music that would stay with him throughout his life. Over the years, he performed with numerous bands and artists, sharing his talent and love of music with others. Guitar playing remained one of the defining passions of his life. A longtime resident of South Georgia, Mike dedicated much of his life to counseling and mentorship, helping others reach Clear and successive OT levels as defined in the Church of Scientology. Through this work, he provided guidance, encouragement, and support to many people over the years. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, David Alva Eldredge and Marion Winson Stafford. He is survived by his four brothers: Tim Eldredge (Maureen Eldredge), Chris Eldredge (Kelly Eldredge), Steve Eldredge (Stacy Burgess), and Jeff Eldredge (Mary Eldredge). He is also survived by countless nieces and nephews, a growing number of grandnieces and grandnephews, and many friends, fellow musicians, and loved ones. As the second of five boys, Mike shared a lifelong bond with his brothers and leaves behind generations of family who will remember his music, his stories, and his unique perspective on life.
