Nell Cox Collier

Nell White Cox Collier, a native of Pelham, Georgia and a resident of Gramercy, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 81. She enjoyed spending time with people.  She loved her family time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Cox Bourgeois (Johness); daughter-in-law, Valerie Bonnet Cox (wife of the late Robby Cox); grandchildren, Laci Bourgeois Williams (Justin), William R. Cox, Jr. (Billy), Lance Johness Bourgeois, Amy Michele Cox (Anthony Jim), and James Michael Cox (Jimmy); great-grandchildren, Jaci Grace William and Halie Lynn Williams; sister-in-law, Barbara White (wife of the late Remer White) and brother-in-law, William “Bill” Cardin (husband of the late Ruby Cardin); and her best friend, Al Olivier and extended family, Becky Olivier Marziale (Vico) and Abigail Marziale. She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” R. Cox, Sr.; her husband, Jim Collier; and companion, Wes Burch; her parents, Remer Hershel White and Maudie Davis White; her child, William “Robby” R. Cox Jr.; her siblings, Remer White, David White (Rosa), Helen Rich (LeRoy), and Ruby Cardin. A visitation will be held at Rose Lynn Funeral Home on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 12 noon to 3 PM with a religion service beginning at 3:00 PM.  A grave side service will be held at Pelham City Cemetery in Pelham, GA on June 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM. The family of Nell would like to thank Al Olivier who stayed by her side for over 15 years.
