Nina Curles Coleman

Nina Rita Harris Curles Coleman, 80, of Jesup, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Born on December 21, 1933 in Pelham, Georgia to the late James and Blanche Wilder Harris, she was a homemaker but many may remember her during her years at Lewis Drug Company in Pelham where she worked from 1967-1973. She was Presbyterian by faith. She is survived by her sons Michael Lamar Curles of Vienna, Virginia, Johnson Lee Curles and wife Wanda of Lakeland, Florida, Jack Lamar Curles, Jr. of Midland City, Alabama, grandchildren Erica Ann Curles, Lindsey Carroll Curles, Era Leeann Curles, sister Nancy Tennyson, who is 89, of Quitman, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands Jack Lamar Curles, Sr., Bobby Coleman, parents James and Blanche Wilder Harris, brother James Harris, Jr. and sisters Alice Swan and Harriett Summerford. There will be no formal visitation held. A graveside memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Pelham City Cemetery.
