Norma Urquhart Walton

Norma Urquhart Walton, 91, of Pelham, GA passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. Born on December 9, 1921 in Mitchell Co., GA to the late Norman Nathaniel and Flossie Jordan Urquhart, she was a homemaker and a retired sales manager. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pelham. She is survived by her husband, Dan Wallace Walton, Sr. of Pelham, GA, son Dan Wallace Walton, Jr. and wife, Sue, of Pelham, GA, daughter Mary Joyce Walton of Pelham, GA, grandchildren Dana Suzanne Pllock and husband, Barry, Krista Joyce Lee and husband, Kelvin, all of Thomasville, GA, Jennifer Jo Humphries and husband, Travis, of Pelham, GA, eight great grandchildren, sister Francis Futch of Plant City, FL, niece Jan Cockcroft and husband, David, of Dawsonsville, GA, nephew Johnny Fulghum of Brooksville, FL, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Elsie Fulghum, Jackie Rowell, brothers Raymond Rowell, Norman "Buddy" Urquhart, Rodney Urquhart. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service which will be conducted on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Jamerson Funeral Home. Rev. Ricky Griner will officiate the services with Jimmy Godwin, John Butler, Les Pollock, Tommy Palmer, Jim Dutrich and John Gray serving as pallbearers. Interment is to be held in Meigs Sunset Cemetery.
