Funeral services for Peggy Dawson Jacobs, 86, of Meigs will be held Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate and interment will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gene Willis, Terry Willis, Levi Jacobs, Lance Johnson, Handley Taylor and Walter Eidson. Born December 8, 1939 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late Jack and Addie Kate Dawson. Mrs. Jacobs passed away Monday, May 11, 2025 at her residence. She was married to James Ernest Jacobs who preceded her in death in 2022. She is survived by her children, Donna Hawley (William) of Pelham; Rebecca Rosen of Tacoma, WA; Cindy Johnson (David) of Fernandina Beach, Fl.; grandchildren, Eric Hawley, Daniel Hawley, Lance Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Maxwell Rosen, great grandchildren, Kate Hawley, Jake Hawley, Dawson Hawley, Lynley Hawley, Addelyn Johnson, Amayleigh Johnson and Eli Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Andrew Jacobs and sister, Bobbie Carlton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday 10:00AM to 11:00AM.
