Rabun A. Whigham

Funeral services for Rabun A. Whigham, 84, of Pelham will be Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church at 2:00PM. Rev. Nathan Fowler, Ronnie Morrell, Rev. David Pickering and Rev. Doug Hall will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brett Ritcher, Freddie Miller, Trey Godwin, Tripp Bennett, Cale Whigham and Zachery Whigham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Humphries, Dewayne Humphries, Ross Nesmith, Ike Godwin, Ronnie Morrell, Dwight Palmer, Leslie Palmer, Larry Wade, Charles Rooks, Bernard Logue and Winston Williams. Born July 4, 1937 in Sale City he was the son of the late Marvin Andrew and Sallie Lucille Williamson Whigham. Mr. Rabun passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where he played piano, he enjoyed golfing, playing the Piano and Keyboard and operated Whigham's Automotive since 1958 in Pelham. He was married to Brenda Palmer Whigham of Pelham for 60 years who survives. Other survivors include his son, Yale Whigham (Stacey), daughter, Sherrie Adams (Louie), grandchildren, Zachery Whigham, Cale Whigham, Tayler Adams, Jenna Adams, Erin Adams and Tripp Bennett, and a sister, Annarah Richter. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy White. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 6:00-8:00PM.
