Funeral services for Ramsey Selman Presley, 71, of Sale City will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00AM at Pebble City Baptist Church. The Rev. Tim Bozeman will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn Presley, Michael Butler, Cayson Butler, Tommy (TJ) Smith, Jessie Holtz, Joey Loyd, Neal Presley and James Sadler and honorary pallbearers will be Mitchell County Sheriff Department. Born May 9, 1946 in Moultrie he was the son of the late Claude Brown and Selma Marian Presley. Mr. Presley passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at his residence. He was married to Wilma Wood Presley who survives. He was a Lieutenant at the Mitchell County Correctional Institute for around 27 years and a member of Pebble City Baptist Church, a farmer, hunter, cowboy, father to many, truck driver and K9 Unit. Survivors other than his wife are Children, Ramsey (Glenn) Presley of Cairo; Rhonda Loyd of Cairo; Marlana Smith of Waynesboro, TN; Sunshine Presley of Sale City; Michael Butler of Camilla; Cayson Butler of Sale City; Nicole Presley of Sale City, Michelle Presley of Sale City; Grandchildren, Joey Loyd of Perry, Fl; Amber Loyd of Cairo; Haley Smith of Waynesboro, TN; Hadley Smith of Waynesboro, TN; Great Grandchildren, Aubrey Loyd of Perry, Fl;  Madelyn Loyd of Perry, Fl;  and brothers, Gary Presley of Meigs; Troy (TR) Presley of Meigs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers, Roy Presley, Clarence Presley and sisters, Margaret Barwick and Claudette Presley. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
