Raymond Paul Brinson

Funeral services for Raymond Paul Brinson, 59, of Calhoun, will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00AM at Mt Zion Baptist Church and interment will be in Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Jordan, Richard Myers, Ric Slaughter, Wade Slaughter and Henry Corbitt. Mr. Brinson passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Piedmont-Fayette Hospital. Born July 18, 1962 in Albany he was the son of the late Alvin W. (Joe) and Janice L. Cutts Brinson. He was a member of Newton Baptist Church and a produce truck driver for Phoenix Produce. He also loved attending different festivals and doing Funnel Cakes. He is survived by his wife, Tina Brinson, children, Jeffery Brinson (Sabrina), Gregory Brinson and Amanda Brinson, Brothers, Kenneth Ralph Brinson (Wanda), Milton Fortner, and sister, Shannon Corbitt (Garry), aunt, Cheryl Robison (Lanny),three grandchildren and one great niece and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Sheila Brinson St. John and grandparents on both sides. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service.
