Funeral services for Reginald (Reggie) Forest Parlette, 74, of Pelham will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Union Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Doug Hall, Rev. Les Pollock and Rev. Doug McCart will officiate and interment will be in Union Grove Church Cemetery. Mr. Parlette passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Select Medical Center in Tallahassee, Fl. Born October 7, 1940 in Detroit Michigan he was the son of the late Nelson Forest Parlette and Alice May Stiles. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Brooks, Jared Brooks, Brent Johnson, Ricky Snipes, Ken Snipes, Mike Snipes, Chad Brinkley and Steven Snipes. He was married for 50 years to Leanear Snipes Parlette who survives. Other survivors include daughters, Amy Brooks(Eric) and Paula Johnson(Scott) and Grandchildren, Benjamin Brooks(Sarah), Jared Brooks, Brent Johnson, and Gabe Johnson, Brothers, Jim Parlette(Jeanne), Jesse Parlette, sister, Diana Parlette, Brother-in-laws, Thurman Snipes(Lillian), Henry Snipes(Judy), Marvin Snipes(Judy), Junior Snipes(Sandra), Robert Snipes(Georgia), and Sister-in-laws, Yvonne Smith and Sue Brinkley(Roger). He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Brady Brooks. The family will receive friends at Union Grove Baptist Church on Monday from 6:00-8:00PM.
