Rev. Marvin Walter Snipes

Funeral services for Rev. Marvin Walter Snipes, 82, of Pelham will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 11:00AM at Macedonia Baptist Church where he was the Minister and interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Brinkley, Mike Snipes, Stephen Snipes, Ricky Snipes,  Ken Snipes,  and James Gossett (Jimmy). Born Dec. 5, 1942 in Mitchell Co, he was the son of the late William Norwood and Lela Pollock Snipes. Mr. Snipes passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at his residence. He was married for 64 years to Judy Ann Brinson Snipes who survives. Other survivors include his sons, Marty (Toni); Todd. Will, and daughter Cindy. sister, Sue Brinkley; brothers, Bill Snipes (Sandra) and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Thurman Snipes, Yvonne Smith, Leanear Parlette, W.H. Snipes, Henry Snipes, and Robert Snipes. Donations may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery fund. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday.
