Rhonda Presley Sadler

Rhonda Presley Loyd Sadler, (55) of Cairo, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11:00AM at New Bethel Baptist Church, where she was a member.  Rev. Larry Wynn will officiate with interment to follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jackson Gray, E. J. Harris, Logan Markey, Tyler Presley, Greg Griffin, Rocky Wynn and Andre Wynn.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Watts and Jeremy Aldridge.  Born April 30, 1970 in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Ramsey Selman Presley and Linda Jewell Hunter.  Rhonda earned a college degree and a Registered Nurse and worked in that field for many years until her health declined. She is survived by her husband, James Sadler, Jr. of Cairo, son Billy Loyd, Jr. (Jennifer) of Perry, FL., daughter Amber Croom (Chris) of Pelham, four grandchildren - Aubrey Loyd, Madelyn Loyd, Christopher Croom and Waylon Croom, one brother, Ramsey (Glenn) Presley of Cairo and three sisters, Marlana Smith of Waynesboro, TN, Sunshine Presley of Sale City, and Sara Gray Gipson of Perry, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents, Selma and Claude Presley, and Remer and Johnnie May Wynn.  The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 10:00-11:00AM at New Bethel Baptist Church.
