Ricardo Zamora Castillo

Funeral services for Ricardo Zamora Castillo, 87, of Pelham will be Held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Newsome will officiate and interment will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Ricky Layfield, Roddy Suber, Joey Castillo, Curtis Eidson, James Eidson, Donald Thomas and honorary pallbearer Wayne Rhoden, Sr. Born February 7, 1930 in La Posta, Tamaulipas Mexico he was the son of the late Cosme Castillo and Clara Zamora Castillo. He was a self employed building contractor. Mr. Catillo passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was married to Guadalupe Solis Castillo for 30 years who also preceded him in death. Survivors include  daughters, Elodia C. Garcia(Felix) of Donna, Tx; Gracia C. Silvas(Jack) of Okeechobee, Fl; Gloria Linda Castillo (Ricky Hurst) of Camilla; Carol C. Daughtry(Bobby) of Pelham; Ester C. Rodriquez(Jose) of Thomasville; Sylvia C. Eidson of Pelham; Lupe Castillo of Thomasville, Yolanda C. Rhoden(Wayne, Sr) of Fort Valley, Ga and his sons, Richard Castillo, Jr.(Vanessa) of Cairo; Reyes Castillo(Lisa) of Marlin, Tx; and  Grandchildren Richard Castillo, III, Raymond Castillo, Cosme Castillo, Jr., Curtis Eidson, Silver Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Jack Silvas, Jr., Rick Layfield, Roddy Suber, Jr., James Eidson, Joey Castillo, Scotty Daughtry, Donald Thomas, Frankie Beltran III, Fidencio Garcia, Tony Garcia, Freddie Castillo, Oscar Castillo, Elvis Castillo, Wayne Rhoden, Jr., Ricky Castillo, Cindy and jenny Castillo, Sharon Shiver Castillo, Gregoria Garcia, Sylvia G. Perez, Maria S. Erwin, Jessica Amanda Daughtry, Rachel Casey, Brooke Casey, Bobbie Jo Castillo Strickland, Jenny E. Karonyon, Lori Ann Nobling, Mary Hope Thomas, Alyssa Meade, Ashley Magen and Nicky Castillo and Ray, Josh, Vicky and Rachel Castillo and Christopher Jimmerson and Miranda Ulm. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sons, Cosme Castillo and Johnny Castillo and  daughters, Elvira (Vicky) Castillo and Hilda Castillo Harvard.
