Rita Darlene Pilgrim Boyer

Rita Pilgrim Boyer, 61, of Cairo passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at her residence. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 10 AM until at 1007 Lewis Road, Cairo, GA  39828. Born August 8, 1959 in Hollywood, FL., she was the daughter of John Wesley Pilgrim and Merlene Cooper.  She is survived by her children, Krystal Mercer and Starr Mercer, her fiance Ronnie Hartley, sisters Reba Elsemiller , Vickie Pilgrim and Betty Funk, brothers Bobby Pilgrim, Jimmy Pilgrim, and Ray Pilgrim, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was affectionally known as "Gammie". She was preceded in death by a son, George Mercer, her parents and a brother, Johnny Pilgrim.    Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham, GA.
