Robert William Hickey

Memorial services for Robert W, Hickey of Acworth GA  will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1:30PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Mr. Hickey passed away January 19, 2021, due to complications of Corona  virus. A former resident of Meigs Ga, a member of Midway Baptist Church, he graduated from Valdosta State College and was a tax accountant with Lockheed Corporation for 28 years. He was passionate about music, his family, and his dog, Smores. He is survived by a sister, Kathy Hickey Fain of Tallahassee, FL; his brother, Derwood Hickey and wife Sharen of Meigs GA; his nephew Bruce Fain of West Palm Beach FL; his nieces Angelia Strickland (Ray) of Waycross GA and Jessica Walker (Phillip) of Valdosta, GA; his  great-nephews and nieces, Zachery Strickland, Timothy, Clare, and Fisher Fain, and Kelsey, Kailyn, and Kinsley Walker. He was preceded in death by his parents W.D. (Bill) and Norma Hickey; nephews Scott Fain and Barry Hickey, and great- niece Madison Fain. Internment will be at Sunset Cemetery, Meigs, GA. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
