Ronald (R.B.) Bentley

Funeral services for Ronald Belcher Bentley (RB), 81, of Pelham will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Dale Cooper and Rev. Franklin Russ will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Johnny Russ, Casey Russ, Jason Royal, Robert Bentley, Mike Bentley and Josh Pollock. Born December 15, 1941 in Pelham he was the son of the late Roscoe and Lois Palmer Bentley. Mr. Bentley passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at his residence. He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Bentley Moore (Jay) of Albany and son, David Bentley of Texas; step daughter, Deanna Hitchcock of Albany and stepson, Danny Anglin of Albany; sisters, Kay Bentley Royal (Roger) of Albany and Janice Bentley Russ (Franklin) of Pelham; sister-in-law, Shelby Bentley of Spanish Fort, Al; five grandchildren, Kelsey (A.J), Perri (Hyunjin), Blake, David and Justin; two step grandchildren, Joseph Anglin of Albany, GA and Joshua Anglin of Knoxville, TN; great grandchildren, Kyrstin Morrow, Clay Bentley, Easton Bentley, Penelope Lee, Mackenzie Morrow, Camille Lee, Heidi Anglin, Wesley Anglin, Austin Williams and Andrew York; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jerri Howell Bentley, brothers, Wallace Bentley, Benjamin Bentley, Irvin Bentley, Floyd Bentley, and Lee Roy Bentley, sister, Avaleen Bentley Eubanks and brother-in-law, James Eubanks. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
